Art Trades, Requests and Doodles

(Actually, there’s only one of each.)

roskoarttrade

First, my half of an art trade with Strawberry! This is her OC Rosko, who–well, actually I don’t know anything about this character 😛 He strikes me as a bit of a trickster though– pulling pranks and bounding away while shouting something like, “Catch me if you can, losers!” You know, just like what real cats do.

I’m trying to get back to a more painterly style. It’s just more comfortable and feels more intuitive to me, which makes the process a bit faster.

Oh! And make sure you check out Strawberry’s half of the trade! She drew a really cool picture of P4 from Tam Team Adventures!

lucina

Next is a drawing of Lucina from Fire Emblem: Awakening that I did for my brother. I’m not particularly pleased with how it turned out, so I may give it another go sometime in the future :/

And finally, a doodle of Drs. Neil Watts and Eva Rosalene from the game To the Moon! If you like story-rich games, I definitely recommend this one 🙂 To the Moon is about two doctors who are hired to help a man fulfill his dying wish to go to the moon. It’s an artificial process, in which the doctors must alter the man’s memories in order to make him believe that he lived to accomplish his life goal.

The story is well told and at times very thought-provoking and emotional. And funny. I think I’d have cried through it if I wasn’t laughing so hard at the doctors’ sarcastic and ill-timed jokes.

That’s all for now, I think. I’m trying to push myself to draw more so I can post more often 😉

  1. *Squeals in happiness* It looks so good! They all look good! 😀

You got Rosko’s personality spot on. He is a trickster. 😛 I’m glad you could tell just by looking. One of my goals is to have at least most of my character designs to give a pretty clear picture of how the character behaves. 🙂

    • I’m glad you like it! ❤

I like when a character's appearance matches his or her personality. 🙂 That's sometimes hard to accomplish because every little detail counts, but you did a great job with Rosko 😀
